Re: What some people will do for a Buck.
Sat, July 8, 2006 - 10:25 AMI am not a member of the Falun Gong community. I have been hearing these reports about the murders of Falun Gong practicioners for some time now. It makes me think about the reports of Nazi Concentration Camp murders during the 1940s. Those murders were reported in much the same way as these atrocities and were treated the same way by the international press.
I hope and Pray that the truth will be made manifest to the world soon. If these reports are as the Chinese government says "lies designed to discredit the Chinese People's Government" that truth will undermine the entire Global Falun Gong community and permanently damage their mission. I cannot imagine any community of faith and spiritual practice engaging in such a deception. I will continue to support the actions of international Human Rights workers and organizations (NGOs) to bring the truth forward. Let us all keep this situation in our awareness and hearts. -

Re: What some people will do for a Buck.
Tue, December 12, 2006 - 9:53 PMI live in Vancouver where we have a very controversial Falun Dafa protest in front of the Chinese Embassy. They have produced lots of reports of organ harvesting and massive execution of those "darned people who like to meditate". They have also produced enough evidence for an MP to pass a motion to ban Canadians from traveling to China when the stated purpose of the visit is for organ transplant. However, with our current neo-conservative Prime Minister ,I doubt much will happen on their behalf or that this will become law :( -

Re: What some people will do for a Buck.
Sat, December 23, 2006 - 5:38 AMHi Shawn,
actually, Canada is at the forefront of the battle for human rights in China. Your P.M recently told the Chinese that Human rights were far more impotant than the Almighty trade dollar, as far as Canada was concerned. We applaud this kind of moral courage, when all others are grovelling for trade rights. (Including my own govt.) I am aware of the contoversy in Vancouver, And feel that the practitioners there should take down the structure they have erected as it is offensive to the local govt. In falun Dafa, we are taught that we should always put others first. These guys are out of line. They had no permission to build this hut in the first place. Falun dafa is NOT about being comfortable.
Your David Kilgour and David Mattas have done excellent work in exposing the Organ harvesting to the world. People and Govts , world wide are beginning to believe that this horror is really happening. Hats off to Canada.

Re: What some people will do for a Buck.
Fri, January 5, 2007 - 7:51 PMThank you for your points on the protest..an angle i hadnt thought of...the only thing with the comment you heard the PM make is that it is mostly just talk..it is cool that he at least said it though as anything to help that govt change for the better is very welcome.......i am in natural resource part of govt and I see what they are really doing by trying to build "the pipe" from Aberta to the coast for Chinese freighters to come and take away (US is tryin hard to stop that one) and what our education system is doing by opening foreign k-12 schools in China that offer Cdn diplomas to supposedly make the Education Ministry money when in fact it does the opposite in my city....I hope that if nothing else he continues to make those kind of statements and then maybe he will be more apt to follow through! Peace -

Re: What some people will do for a Buck.
Sat, January 6, 2007 - 1:09 PMYes, Sadly the mighty $ rules and corrupts, you wouldn't believe the amount of grovelling this current govt is doing, last year, a top Chinese general stated that China is prepared to wage Nuclear war over Taiwan, They are prepared to lose the eastern half of China, But the U.S should be prepared to lose L.A at least.
And the retards that run this country, are selling them Uranium!
Of course the Chinese are not selling it to Nth. Korea, nor are they supplying arms to all the insurgents and rebels world wide . . . . . . . .
In attempting to overthrow govts.
The communist agenda is and always has been world domination, as in George Orwell's 1984. Control, Control, Control.
But they are beginning to crumble, in the last 18months we have had 17,000,000 resign from the party, that's nearly a million a month.
I reccomend to you "The 9 commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party" it's a documented history of their rule of terror and Deciet, You can find it a www.theepochtimes .com All people should read this. and become aware of this Evil system the world is so keen on doing business with.
Happy New Year to ya.
